I submitted a short story. I'm not going to say which, and I'm not going to say where, but when that first rejection comes back, I'm gonna frame it. ;-)
I'm all shaky. Gee whiz.... It's only taken me fifteen years or so to get up the nerve.
You realize that this now makes me your competition, Speegle. Bring it on, big guy. ;-)
So...today I'm reading over the story again and cringing at almost every other word and over-analyzing my formatting choices and wondering what I was thinking...but I feel good about at least having taken that first step. Should make it easier to send others out into the big world. And even if they all get rejected, I'll feel better for having tried. Right? Right??
