It almost looks like a satire! But on second glance, it's a signpost of sorts- reminding me of what I resent about "virtual living," things that are not real and try to substitute the real thing.
On the one hand, I'm pleased that people are still fascinated enough by typewriters to come up with something like this. On the other hand...why?? The real thing is still out there, and a picture on a screen with some clickity-clack noises hardly compares.

It's just a waste of time. Hmmmmm, I want an app that sounds like a typewriter, behaves like a typewriter, looks like a typewriter... So just get one!
That kind of stuff is novel, for a few minutes, but then you realize that having a real one is so much better!
