Well done, ma'am. I like both of them. I haven't tried this yet, the art of finding an object that inspires a poem (the way you did and the way Ryan does with pictures), but I'm inspired to try it now.
I've got a ways to go before pulling Ryan-level inspiration from images--I love his photo stories! But it is fun to see something and try to build words around it until something happens. A good exercise / mind-stretch, in any case!
