Type tweets are a thing on my blog, at least! I've actually seen a few celebrity sorts posting typed tweets as well, though I can't recall just who at the moment. Alton Brown has a Hermes 3000, but mostly tweets via post-it (I love him for that). Conan O'Brien, maybe?
WA is, as usual, slightly soggy and grey, with plenty of culture to make up for that. :)
