About that Hermes 3000

Refresher: Stinky's sad tale is here. Gotta get some pictures of him one of these days.

Yeah, you've got to keep that. When you find the mojo you gotta keep the mojo.

My SM4 has the mojo. It ain't goin' nowhere.

My favorite of my typewriters is the one that shows the most wear and tear: in this case, actual cracks in the frame. It isn't as pretty as the others, but it feels good.

I think I found the mojo in the Underwood. It types better then the SM9

I don't know if you still have this typewriter. I originally found the post a year ago when I got my first metal boxy 3000. About a month later (at the most) I bought a round body one that needed some repairs. It sat for over a year. Several Hermes 3000 typewriters later I bought a round body one that was quite beat for parts, but when I tried it it was one of the most fantastic typers in my collection. So now I finally understand your statements on the mojo. I also finally this past week end finished the first rounded body one. I'll be posting on it soon. All the other ones and the project for the first rounded one are on my blog.
