NaNoWriMo Starting Position...

Everything is ready for lift-off. Pencils and notebooks are laid out, coffee supplies assembled, lunch and work clothes in order so I don't have to worry about them in the morning. Going to read a bit, hit the way early, and then get up in the dark to get this party started. Good luck to all participants!

Welcome to the madness, Dan!

Well, I got in just over six comp book pages before work, which is pretty good for me. Opening players: Palomino Blackwing 602, Palomino Golden Bear, Musgrave Test Scoring, and Staedtler Norica HB.

Should be about 1000 words, which gives me hope of being able to make my count for the day!

The first rule of Write Club is to "Begin!" Way to begin LFP, way to begin!

I used a college ruled composition book that would up holding WAY more words per page than I thought. But it's MUCH less satisfying that way!

Yeah, I like how quickly you get to blow through wide rule comp books. On the other hand...it means I pretty much have to rack up at least ten or twelve pages a day to meet goals. I made it today, but only just. Hopefully I can create a bit of a word count cushion over the weekend.

I still don't know where I'm going, but my main character is figuring stuff out as he goes along, and hopefully I will, too.
