See it? :)
Bit hard to photograph in indoor lighting, but it's what I had. And yes, that blue-green one in the middle is flocked. Wearing blue velvet. Whatever you want to call it. Kinda gives me the heebie-jeebies, to tell the truth.
I'd like to think there's some sort of art project I could make using these things, but I'm not sure. To ponder.

That looks like a win to me! Just try carrying home several hundred typewriters...
Although I agree it's a whole lot of pencils... looking forward to seeing the eventual art project!
The blue velvet pencil is perfect for a Vegas Elvis to use for signing autographs.
Happy Valentine's Day to you too!
I'm thinking at the least I could make some sort of pencil cups with some of these as decoration around the outside. Because goodness knows I need more containers for all the pencils I have at this point!
Isn't that one of the most attractive typefaces ever? I really love it. I think it's the same as Speculator's Lettera 32, or very close.
Ah...the good old US-made Ticonderoga's. Best pencil ever.
The blue velvet one also creeps me out. Dennis Hopper on ether. No thanks.
My wife brought me (and my daughter) pencils from the Smithsonian recently that were fuzzy like that. They're less creepy with writing on them, LOL.
I myself often sing the praises of the Ticonderoga.
I usually skip those bags of pencils at the Goodwill. I might have to start looking closer.
(At the Grand Ole Opry, we don't make mistakes. Erasers are for city folk.)
